Eco-Village is located just minutes from the magical town of Cortona. The village is immersed within an un-touched area of nature and it has been sustainably designed to completely respect our earth.
Although Cortona is a small borgo, it is an ideal place for those passionate about history and culture and an authentic location for someone to immerse themselves in Italian life. We remember it as not only the filming location of the Academy Award Winning Film La Vita è Bella, but also because its roots date back to Etruscan and Roman civilizations. Visitors can spend the day in the National Archaeological Park of Cortona, visit the Duomo and other various churches to learn about Cortona’s significant status throughout the Middle Ages. There are also small artisanal shops where one can purchase hand made products and local gastronomical items.
Arezzo is another medieval town famous for housing paintings from Vasari and Petrarca. Arezzo is also the home of the famous medieval jousting festival La Giostra del Saracino.
