Equestrian enthusiasts are also very well catered for with numerous show jumping, polo, and cross-country stables nearby, and larger events throughout the year, including the local Wicklow and Bray Hunts which meet weekly during the season.
Wingfield House has some of the most spectacular views in Ireland. It is positioned overlooking the sea, where the view stretches from Howth to Arklow. This is an architecturally designed house, an adaptation of an original farmhouse which was extended and refurbished to simultaneously take advantage of the private, secluded location, and to capture the breath-taking scenic views.
It was designed by Padraig Smith Partnership Architects, and every detail was thought of in this property in its design and layout. Wingfield is entered through wrought iron electric gates, leading to a private avenue which passes through the land on both sides, and leads to the house in its spectacular setting.
The light-filled property is nestled away, sheltered by mature trees and surrounded by lawns and gardens.
