The dining room is characterized by its quiet typical regal interior with again the panorama over the Geuldal. All in all, the ground floor with its richly decorated rooms exudes an atmosphere that can be expected from a castle, as castle Geulzicht exudes.

Appreciation:
The castle Geulzicht is of cultural-historical value as a special expression of a socio-economic and typological development.
The castle has architectural-historical values because of its special importance for the supra-regional history of architecture, because of the high-quality aesthetic qualities of the design, the use of marl as a building material, the ornamentation and the special connection between the exterior and parts of the interior. The castle Geulzicht derives ensemble value from its location on the slope of the Geulhemmerberg and is therefore of special significance for the appearance of this part of Valkenburg aan de Geul. After all, Geulzicht Castle is of general importance because of the architectural integrity of the exterior and parts of the interior, in relation to the visual integrity of the landscape environment, and because of its architectural-historical and typological rarity.
