Villa Massaciuccoli is a charming historic villa positioned on top of the slopes of Mount Aquilata, on the side overlooking Lake Massaciuccoli; which is a an often frequented and well known wildlife oasis. The estate is a restoration of ruins belonging to an ancient Roman Etruscan villa from the I century A.D., attributed to the Pisan family of the Venulei, whose name appears on a copper water pipe that used to furnish water to the villa. The first information on the villa dates back to the year 874. The wall finishing’s still feature original stone works from the ruins.
The entire estate measures about 1,2 ha (1200 m2) and consists of a 2 floor main villa on top of a hill surrounded by 500 olive trees, over 50 diverse fruit trees, a vegetable garden, small vineyard, and many exotic flowers and cactuses.
The main villa measure about 250 m2 (2690 sqft.) and offers 5 bedroom with 3 bathrooms, a big kitchen, dining area, salon, entertainment room, library, and laundry room.
The ground level has two separate entrances to the villa. The main front entrance and a back one that connects with the pool. On this level of the house is the Kitchen, dining room, salon, entertainment room and guest bathroom.
