The property has been carefully restored by its current owners and comprises 2 independent cottages both enjoying beautiful views of the mountains.
The first cottage is currently used for holiday rentals and is set on the lower level. It comprises a kitchen/dining area with some homemade mosaic tiles, a bedroom, a dressing area and a bathroom. In front of the house is a separate small garden and pergola area for dining al fresco. A few steps lead to another bedroom and bathroom.
The second outbuilding is set on 2 floors, a hand painted hallway leads onto an open plan area with kitchen, dining and lounge area.
A beautiful iron staircase takes you to a bedroom on the first floor with its own wooden decking terrace made of an ingenious system resembling a drawbridge.
On the left hand side of the house is a very theatrical bathroom with another iron spiral staircase leading to another bedroom enjoying the same system of terracing.
The outside of the house is somehow magical and quirky with a spider web iron work.
The pool is really well integrated in the landscape and also benefits from views of the mountains. Lots of little cobble stone paths and shaded areas wind their way around the garden.
Down the valley at the back of the house, there is a big plot with lots of mature trees going down through terraced steps towards a little river.
This is a very artistic house, it could be left as it is and enjoyed as a home or holiday house.
