A unique property located in a secluded and elevated position, with spectacular views towards the coast.
The property was built around the year 1996 using materials from the region and is inspired by Andalusian/Moorish architecture often found in Sevilla and Cordoba.
The accommodation is all on one floor with access to all the rooms via a central courtyard with a profusion of plants, flowers and a central fountain. The walls are all lined with gorgeous, colourful tiles.
As you walk clockwise, you first enter a beautiful kitchen which opens to the dining room. The vaulted wooden ceiling is very high, and the amazing stone floors were rescued from a church. There is also a vast open stone fireplace. An archway, with a stunning wooden door leads to a cosy lounge. There is a fireplace which not only heats this room, but also ingeniously heats the main bedroom and its en suite bathroom. The living spaces have French doors opening out onto the pool area.
Via the central courtyard you access the spacious master bedroom. It has wooden floors, and on a lower level a huge en suite bathroom (with bath and shower) and a heated seating area on the wall by the lounge. There are a further 2 bedrooms, both accessed via the central courtyard. At the end of the corridor is a beautiful Hamman. This has a cloakroom, shower, steam room and a plunge pool. The whole room is built using bricks, and really has the feel of an authentic Moorish spa
There is in addition a laundry room and a huge atelier/garage (which could be turned into another bedroom)
Again, from the courtyard is a staircase which is like going up a tower. This gives access to 2 roof terraces with 180˚ views towards the sea and the Serra.
The land is fully fenced, it has in the main been left in its natural state. To the south of the property outside the living area is a beautiful infinity pool.
The surroundings are calm with no road noise and complete privacy. Access is via a dirt track of around 400m.
