In the front part of the house, the original main entrance positioned at the northeast-facing side of the large family farmhouse together with the marble floor of the elongated hall offers a stately entrance. At the back, the informal entrance via the stable doors and the glass hall in the former integrated stables provide another stunning way to access the house. Here, the authentic stable windows, the lower parts at the sides of the old stable where the animals were once housed, and an old clinker floor were retained, just like the oak beams and trusses throughout the rest of the farm. The former stables now include a large play corner, a work area, a gym and a sauna, and a large laundry room. The hall leading from this part gives access to the cosy kitchen. The kitchen still exudes the atmosphere of the buildings history. Even so, the bespoke Lodder kitchen contains all the mod-cons you may need. From the kitchen, you enter the southeast-facing intimate dining room and then the splendid drawing room. This beautiful room has massive oak flooring, the original bed box, a large mantel with a historical tile panel, and an open wood-fuelled fireplace. The warm and cosy feeling of all these rooms is even more enhanced by the windows that offer views of the garden and several terraces, such as a shady family seating area underneath an exceptionally old magnolia. At the back of the garden, you will also find a large designer outdoor kitchen. From the drawing room, a few steps lead to another room which, apart from oak flooring, also includes many original style elements and which is now a sociable sitting/living room. The spacious wine and storage cellar is underneath this second living room. The first floor at the front part of the house is where you will find the master bedroom with its elegant dressing room and en-suite luxurious bathroom. Apart from that, there are two additional large bedrooms and two generously sized bathrooms. Another wonderful surprise is the large space (60 m) which is currently used as a work/hobby room but which can also be perfectly used to create additional bedrooms and/or storage space.
