The house in Lazcano 18B was part of “La Casa de los Delfines” with an area of 20,000 square meters.
Named after the stone dolphin ornaments carved on its facade, this house, which was part of an Hacienda is considered a historic monument dating the XVIII century. It had a small chapel and later became the Museum of the Three Cultures.
Its owner was General Adolfo León Ossorio, ex revolutionary, art collector and founder of the Defense Museum.
La Casa de los Delfines used to be a part of Hacienda San Angel Inn.
The house is located 500 meters from San Angel Inn Restaurant, Diego Rivera Studio and Altavista Avenue with its luxury brand shops and restaurants.
