About the Area
Debach is situated in mid Suffolk, some 9 miles north east of the county town of Ipswich, 4.5 miles to the north of the market town of Woodbridge and 7.5 miles to the south west of Framlingham. Woodbridge has very good facilities for its size including a library, cinema, theatre, swimming pool and gym, community hall, medical facilities, restaurants as well as a railway station which is located close to the river Deben, the town's natural focal point. There are highly respected schools in the state and independent sectors catering for students of all ages and there are also good opportunities to play sport in the surrounding district where a number of clubs cater for a variety of interests. Golf is enjoyed on the inland courses as well as on the coast at Aldeburgh and Thorpeness while sailing takes place on the tidal river Deben, Alde and Orwell or at sea. The other local towns also offer extensive educational, recreational and shopping facilities. There is a direct train to London's Liverpool Street Station from Ipswich taking approximately 65 minutes. There is also a train service to London from Woodbridge station via Ipswich.

Heading north up the A12 having bypassed Woodbridge, go straight across at the Melton roundabout and take the next turning on the left signposted Bredfield. Continue straight through the village of Bredfield into Debach. Larksfield will be found on the left hand side just opposite the village sign, lay-by and bus shelter.
