Duleek meaning "stone house or church" is a village in County Meath, Ireland. Duleek takes its name from the Irish word daimh liag, meaning house of stones and referring to an early stone-built church, St Cianán's Church, the ruins of which are still visible in Duleek today. Duleek is a popular commuter town to Dublin City and has a population of around 4,200 (2016 census). The town has services and amenities for all family needs and is only 12km from Drogheda. As one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Drogheda is a popular town with tourists as it lies on the Dublin to Belfast corridor and is steeped in history. The town itself has over 30,000 inhabitants and attracts large multi-national firms. It has become a secondary location for those working in Dublin with ease of access to the city via the M1 motorway and good train and bus services to match.
Drumman House & Lodge are well located also for sporting enthusiasts. Local racecourses include Dundalk, Bellewstown and Fairyhouse Racecourse. The popular golf courses of Bettystown, Baltray, Ashbourne and Co. Louth are all within easy commute. There are also several GAA clubs, football clubs and other clubs to accommodate all family needs.
Located in the heart of the land holding, Drumman House is a fine residence in good condition with good sized rooms and high ceilings throughout. The lands are well laid out and have very mature boundaries and hedging throughout. The majority of lands are suitable for a number of uses including tillage and grazing for all livestock.
