A recreation and entertainment centre Alaušo Sėnis (Alaušas’ Valley) is found on a picturesque western shore of Alaušas lake. A top ranked member of the Rural Tourism Association (5 storks’ evaluation), provides catering, accommodation and recreation services.
The land plot with the area of over 4 hectares has 8 small recreation houses with fireplaces which can be used for accommodating 68 guests. There are terraces leading to the lake, living rooms, bedrooms. The rooms have modern furniture, there are small premises designed as kitchens and modern bathrooms.
A restaurant hall in a separate building can be used for celebrations: for banquets with up to 68 guests and for party buffets with up to 90 guests. The staff of the restaurant kitchen will prepare a festive dinner using local food products. Food and beverages may be served in any house, on the shore or in the summerhouse.
There are three tennis courts in the territory with the best outdoor tennis court flooring in Lithuania, namely, 1 cm high synthetic grass artificial turf. During summer, outdoor tennis camps are organised for children.
There are two summerhouses with bonfire places, two saunas on the shore of the lake, two Japanese hot water bathtubs Ofuro, there is equipment necessary for conferences and trainings, there is the infrastructure for active outdoor activities (trails and alleys), tools for active outdoor activities: a boat, a paddle boat, three tennis courts, etc. and auxiliary premises for storing the equipment and tools.
Lake Alaušas with its transparent water washes away all the pressure and is full of fish. It is suitable for diving and enjoying other water activities. You understand the beauty of nature and the unique opportunity of enjoying it by a look at the water of the lake.
In the vicinity, there are enclosures with red deer and fallow-deer grazing. They like vegetables and bread. If you are lucky, they will approach you and you will be able to hand feed them.

According to the legend, there used to be a castle of duke Alaušas on the eastern shore of the lake on the mound of Maneičiai. They say that the duke loved the big clear lake. For this reason, just before his death, he asked to scatter his ashes in the lake. People did as he wished and called the lake after him – Alaušas.
