Description
A few kilometers by car from Porta Romana you reach the property. A private and automated gate opens the doors to this wonderful historic property from the 1500s. The atmosphere is almost magical, the gaze is lost in the surrounding countryside; climbing a small staircase you reach the external courtyard and the main entrance of the villa. We are immediately greeted by a large entrance hall and three bright halls that overlook the external courtyard with high windows and a small internal courtyard, precious and intimate, furnished with a lovely table where you can privately enjoy moments of absolute relaxation. Also on the ground floor a large area is dedicated to the dining room, to the study characterized by the imposing and ancient fireplace, to the eat-in kitchen, very large and expertly furnished. A bathroom, a space dedicated to the service staff and the laundry complete the ground floor. The ground floor is connected to the first floor through the important and ancient stone staircase that gives a touch of chic. An area overlooking the villa has been furnished with a pergola and a large table to comfortably accommodate guests, a short distance away an outdoor stone kitchen has been built where a large grill is used in moments of celebration; from here the views of the surrounding countryside are wonderful especially at sunset. The solarium and relaxation area has been created around the large swimming pool surrounded by plants and flowers that create splashes of colour and perfume. A large canopy which is accessed through a second automated gate can comfortably accommodate ten cars.
State and finishes
The historic villa is perfect in all its parts, internal and external. The ceilings are over three meters high, the large windows give light and warmth to all areas. The ancient terracotta was placed on the ground floor while the warm plank wood was chosen for the rooms. The walls are partly plastered and partly left in expertly treated ancient stone. The bathrooms are very large and the walls plastered with pastel details, soft and very elegant. The old wooden beams have been perfectly treated and feature high ceilings.
