Levanto is the closest village to Cinque Terre and is a stunning ridge along the sea which connects to the village of Monterosso just a few kilometers away. The ancient historical town of Levanto with it's lively center boasts countless handcraft shops, stores and typical small restaurants. The breath-taking seafront area was completed in 2005 and there is a cycling lane connecting Levanto to Bonassola. Here, as in all of the Cinque Terre area, it is possible to enjoy excellent fish delicacies and drink wonderful Sciachetr� wine.
