Planning The site lies within the Mallaig settlement boundary and is largely within the allocation MA01 for housing in the West Highland and Islands Local Development Plan 2019. Plots 1-5 are within MA01 and plot 6 although outwith is within the Settlement Development Area for Mallaig.

Planning permission in principle (Ref: 19/02664/ PIP) was granted on 01 April 2020 for the erection of 14 houses; this includes the 6 private detached self build plots. A further planning application for the approval of matters specified in the conditions of that decision notice will be required for each plot. The roads for the wider development are included in another planning permission (REF: 19/02662/FUL) and will be constructed by LHA for the whole development.

General Closing Date: The vendor may set a Closing Date for offers to be submitted, therefore interested parties are encouraged to note their interest in a detached plot to ensure they are notified of any Closing Date.

Services: Including electricity, mains water supply and foul drainage connections are available to the individual plot boundaries.

Viewing: The site is visible from the road at King’s Way however, access to the site where construction works may be underway should be by appointment.

Legal: Each party will be responsible for their own legal costs incurred in this transaction. The plot sales will be subject to the resumption of the land from crofting
