Bettystown is located in the North-Eastern corner of County Meath approximately 50 km north of Dublin City and 36km North of Dublin Airport. The town is 8 km South-East of Drogheda which is Ireland's largest town.
Bettystown acts as a focal point for many of the smaller dormitory towns that are located in East Meath due to its accessibility via the M1 and the train station in nearby Laytown. The Bettystown Town Centre is the main shopping district for the area.
