Description
Standing on a generous plot of 1,749 m2, the chalet was completely renovated and reconfigured in 2007, with the works completed in 2009. The current owners used a renowned Chamonix architect to rebuild the property with a traditional external façade and high-specification interior, transforming the chalet into a modern mountain hideaway with the most spectacular mountain views. Facing due south, the chalet benefits from long periods of sunshine throughout the day in summer and winter.
Internally the chalet has circa 230 m2 of habitable space. There are five bedrooms, including an impressive master-suite on the top floor with private bath and shower room and dressing room. Positioned at the front of the chalet, the suite has a private balcony with unobstructed mountain views. There are four additional bedrooms and a sixth room which is currently a study/library, however could be easily converted into a sixth double bedroom. The views from the desk are spectacular and mildly distracting.
Part of the middle floor is an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with a central wood-burning fireplace which has a cleverly integrated television. Additionally there is a separate dining room with floor to ceiling glass windows which maximise the superb view. From all the rooms on this level there is direct access to a large wrap-around terrace. An-equipped gym and cinema room can be found on the ground floor of the property.
Externally the chalet has been very well maintained over the years. There is a Jacuzzi built into part of the decking area and a separate mazot which is currently used as an extra storage facility. A large terrace, accessed by the living room, sits to the west of chalet. At the rear there is a large and natural area of land, meaning the property is not at all overlooked.
