Inserted in the mystical Sintra´s mountain forest, on the Castelo dos Mouros´ foothill, part of the Sintra-Cascais natural park and also a UNESCO ´s world heritage landscape, the Quinta de Santa Maria is a green oasis in the centre of the historical Sintra´s city. The ground floor comprises a generous entry hall that accesses a living room, an ample kitchen with a dining area, a totally glazed dining room facing the garden, a laundry area and two suites. The first floor is composed by a suite and a master suite with a sitting room and a dressing room, an office, a TV room, a guests’ saloon and an ample terrace with view to the swimming pool. The five suites offer a view to the garden, to the swimming pool and to two lakes with fishes. The palace has an annex that comprises a suite, a living room and a kitchen. This property worked as a private residence and a holiday house that was rebuilt between 2006 and 2010. Its structure is from 1884. The reconstruction of the house, with a castle shape, was perfectly rebuilt, paying attention to all the details. The saloon ´s main living room, which was restored, is the most antique of this property. The restored house keeps its charm and was rebuilt with the best Portuguese materials.
