This villa dates back to 1684 and is located in Santomato in the center of Tuscany. From its immense terrace we have the impression of having the whole Tuscany at our feet. The terrace is also called the Piazzale Michelangelo of Pistoia. The villa is accessed by a private road and during its journey you can meet natural waterfalls that distinguish the property. At the foot of the largest fall there is water source cave. The property is surrounded by about 30,000 square meters of land with 500 olive trees with the possibility of inserting vineyards. The villa is divided into two civil dwellings of 120 square meters, both completely independent and another unit of about 550 square meters with garage, pergola, etc. The finishes of the villa are also unique: from the Roman marble walls to the terracotta floors handmade, to the double roof, to the internal doors. The name "Desiderio" of the villa is given by the legend that the king of the Lombards occupied Pistoia around the year 750, used to bathe in the stream that skims one side of the property. What makes the villa unique is the context that surrounds it. Here everything seems to be untouched. On the terrace in front of the villa is possible to land with helicopters, as below there is a reinforced concrete bunker which houses a 109 square meter garage.
