REF. SM1010 (ex. SM1008) - Radicofani (SIENA - TUSCANY)Villa Val d'Orcia, a century-old farmhouse, is located less than 1 km from the village of Radicofani, in the province of Siena. The country house, built in Radicofani stone, has been entirely restored in full respect of its historical and architectural constraints. The estate is surrounded by 7 hectares of land and dominates, from the top of a hill, the iconic Val d'Orcia and Val di Paglia. These areas are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, true icons of the Tuscan landscape. Not far from the villa some of the best Italian wines are produced, such as Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano. The house is on three storeys. The garden leads to a large entrance with a designer iron staircase. Around the staircase you'll find a kitchen, a large dining room, a double bedroom with private bathroom and a beautiful living room with stone fireplace and double access to the patio. There is also a service bathroom, a laundry room and a technical room.On the first floor, we have a living room, a twin bedroom and a triple bedroom, each with its own bathroom and dressing room. From the rooms you have access to a lovely patio where you can enjoy the picturesque view of the Radicofani Tower. The second floor opens onto a large frescoed living room and houses two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathroom with shower and walk-in closet. The colours and atmosphere that pervade the entire property allow visitors to breathe in the true essence of the Tuscan countryside, the cradle of Italian literature, wine and food culture. The materials used for the renovation are local: terracotta from Siena; wood and stone from Radicofani. The furnishings are simple and welcoming and the frescoes by a well-known Spanish painter enhance all the rooms with bucolic scenes in bright colours. The property has an external camera system connected with recording and with smartphone remote control. Each floor has independent heating, also provided with smartphone remote control. The villa can be divided into two flats with independent entrances and heating.
