Mundekulla Retreat Center, of approximately 14 ha, is a completely unique place for people to meet and develop in – a place bigger than itself". The estate is located in the breathtaking nature of Småland's forests and has been developed over generations, where the latest owners have completed what is today Mundekulla Retreat Center. This is a place for mindfulness, yoga, retreats, conferences and festivals, offering space for events with everything between 15 to 300 participants. Many who have visited describe Mundekulla as a small paradise where the only thing you hear is the sound of nature. The creative atmosphere of music and art also provides an inspiring and beautiful place for workshops and events. This is a rare opportunity to write the next chapter in the history of one of Sweden's most carefully developed course and retreat centers.
Open meadows in rolling cultural landscapes, together with refurbished farm buildings, retain the farm's picturesque appearance. On the interior, the facility is modern and practical with open spaces between the various buildings. Rising above the treetops is the Eco Tower, a creation between father and son where innovative architecture together with an idea of meeting the light and being close to the beautiful produces a completely unique tower building, 25 m high with a 360° view of 20 km.
Mundekulla Retreat Center is built with ecological principles, uniting the past, present and future with warmth and care. It all started with a restoration of a house from the 1820's and has slowly grown to the center it is today, with many traditional building methods as well as award-winning reuse of materials. The area offers a varied and beautiful landscape surrounded by old forests, streams and spring lakes for swimming and hiking trails. The property rests on approximately 14 ha and the facilities include four beautiful meeting rooms, of which the largest is 240 sqm, a wood-fired sauna and spa and a straw/clay house – the meditation house. In total, there are four multifunctional outbuildings with unique work rooms and different types of accommodation. With a total of 27 rooms, but with different sleeping lofts and cabins, the facility can accommodate about 125 guests.
There is also the former manor house, now containing two apartments, meritorious and award-winningly restored. Everything at Mundekulla is beautifully and genuinely executed where great ambition and effort has been put into preserving and developing existing buildings and details, as well as constructing several smaller buildings, e.g. two authentic Viking cottages, a meditation house, relaxation area, two sauna cottages and much more.
Possibly additional land of about 58 ha in connection to the properties can be acquired.
