Palazzo Muti, in the following years Balestra, was designed by the architect Mattia De Rossi in the mid-17th century. Muti family residence, one of the most famous patrician families of Rome, later, for over two generations, was the Stuarts court palace. The building is accessed by a majestic entrance flanked by two Ionic columns and surmounted by a balcony.
The structure of the building is enriched by a large courtyard with a portico. The main floor of over 800 square meters is now a prestigious office, with a beautiful balcony overlooking Piazza Santi Apostoli. High frescoed ceilings and damask tapestries on the walls make the property truly sumptuous. It is extremely rare to find such a large baroque apartment, spread over one floor, completely renovated and equipped with the latest generation systems. Although it is currently used as an office, it can be easily converted into its original residential use.
The property also includes a small shop on three levels with a large window on Via di San Marcello.
