Murray Park is a one way street which connects The Scores to North Street in central St Andrews. The Scores is renowned as being one of the most prestigious streets in Scotland and has magnificent views over the cliff tops and out to sea.
The Scores starts immediately behind the 18th Green of the Old Course and the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse. The West Sands Beach is just beyond. The property is well placed for access to all the golf courses operated by The St Andrews Links Trust, as well as the university and all the shops, pubs and restaurants in the town centre.
St Andrews is renowned worldwide as the 'Home of Golf'. The Old Course is a regular host to the Open Championship. The 150th Open will be staged there in July 2022. There are six further golf courses run by the St Andrews Links Trust, in addition to the many other golf courses in the area including the Duke's Course, two courses at Fairmont, St Andrews Bay, Kingsbarns and Dumbarnie.
The town is also well known for its university which was Scotland's first university and the third oldest in the English-speaking world, founded in 1413. The town provides state schooling at Madras College. There is private schooling at St Leonards and The High School of Dundee is also within easy reach.
Access by rail, road and air is good. Leuchars railway station (4 miles) is on the main Aberdeen to London line and provides a fast link to Dundee and Edinburgh. Edinburgh Airport is only 50 miles away.

10 Murray Park, formally known as Drumpellier House, is a Victorian house with accommodation over three floors. Drumpellier House was built as a boarding house and was occupied as such until purchased by the Napier family in the 1960s. The current owners have kept it in their family for over 50 years. The house was renovated in 2015 and has been run as a holiday house / let. It is bright and spacious with high ceilings and large windows.

Double bedroom with fitted cupboard overlooking Murray Park. Single bedroom with fitted cupboard.
Dining room with WC off and under stair cupboard. Modern kitchen with utility room and door leading out to private enclosed courtyard. Kitchen appliances include LG microwave, Lamona integrated fridge freezer, Hotpoint gas hob and extractor fan, Indesit oven and Statesman dishwasher. Belfast sink overlooking courtyard. Driving into St Andrews on the A91 go straight on at the roundabout onto North Street. Continue past Golf Place and take the next turning on the left into Murray Park. Follow this road past the car park and around the right hand bend. 10 Murray Park is on the corner where Murray Place joins Murray Park. There is a plaque marked Drumpellier House.
