An ideal development opportunity awaits: 250 acres of unrivalled, natural beauty and tranquility, and the rights to develop and sell 100 luxury villas...
The château sits on a land mass of about 250 acres, of which about 84 acres have been utilized to create an 18 hole championship standard golf course. The property boasts an 18th-century stone-built beautiful building with fairy tale twin towers boasting 19 rooms. The entire building has been subject to a massive overhaul and refurbishment, and has been brought back to the luxuries and facilities of the 21st century, yet it retains its original style and grandeur. The professional upgrades for the hotel, which took three years to complete, include the guest rooms, kitchen, restaurant, lobby, bar, and ball rooms. The refurbishment included the installation of lavish soft furnishings and handmade English furniture using English oak and cherry woods. The interior of the hotel remains in fabulous shape and looks just like the photos. Handmade, imported crystal chandeliers glisten whilst the marble sink tops and tiles, from Italy, Greece, and Spain, make a beautiful, timeless statement. The interiors feature oak & rosewood, all crafted by hand. The elegant wooden parquet floors are adorned by hand made Oriental rugs - this is truly a one-of-a-kind destination. There are seven total buildings on the property (the first being the hotel)
13 rooms have been refurbished and decorated to a very high standard into luxurious en-suite double bedrooms, 5 of which are large suites. One room has been furnished to cater for a disabled person. As there is no major road in the close vicinity or any over-flying airplanes, the château is surrounded by unrivalled natural beauty, peace and tranquillity and provides an atmosphere of absolute serenity. It has been often described by visitors as “This is Paradise.” The estate is located in the Saone-et-Loire region of Burgundy province of France in a tiny village of Ceron and it is about a 2 hour drive from Lyon International airport (the second largest city of France). It is about a 3 hour drive from the Swiss city of Geneva and a 3.5 hour drive from Paris. Other big cities are Macon, famous for its wines and about an hour drive, Vichy, famous for its spas, water and ancient Roman heritage, about a 45 minutes drive away, and Roanne, which is 25 minutes away.
