Surrounded by a manor park, next to the shore of Lake Älgsjön, lies the beautiful Elsabo Manor. A facility well suited for business, hotel and experiences with a newly renovated corps de logi, large wings and other well-maintained buildings.
A country road winds through dense forests and open fields before you finally arrive at Elsabo Herrgård. Greeting you is a beautiful park environment with large noble deciduous trees, and in the middle of the estate sits a magnificent corps de logi in a style that can be described as art nouveau baroque.
The mansion was built in the 1910s, and due to its beautiful and refreshing location on the lake shore, the manor house was used as a nursing home for several decades in the early and mid-20th century. This was when the south and north wings were added, framing the corps de logi. The facility has since been supplemented with several buildings such as a pool house, conference building and annex.
Since 2013, the corps de logi has been thoroughly renovated to its former glory, offering a beautiful first floor with large parlors adorned with wall panels and decorative stucco. The two wing buildings have also been restored and include several modern rooms with private bathrooms. The buildings offer a total of 60 rooms for overnight guests and, in addition, large spaces for socializing in this incredibly peaceful environment. Next to one of the entrances to the estate is Elsabo 1:9, a property with a separate villa where the owner or staff can live close but still separate.
In addition to the outstanding park that surrounds the manor, the land also consists of scenic pastures along the lake, in which the owner has fishing rights. Elsabo Herrgård is only about 18 miles from Oskarshamn and 50 miles from Kalmar, where the highway connects to several larger cities.
