Built in neoclassical style at the end of the 19th century, a short distance from the Sala Palatului and Cismigiu Park, this historic house remains an important testimony of Bucharest from the interwar period. Located in the Bucharest perimeter Gradina Cismigiu, the oldest public garden in Bucharest, opposite Sala Radio, with quick access to all the important points of interest in the area, the present house proposes a return to the chic times of another time. The main facade of the house is marked by the floral elements that make up the upper frieze, flanked by two windows with ornaments representing acanthus leaves and ribbons. With a total area of 210 square meters, it has 6 rooms, a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, a free yard of approximately 50 square meters that can allow the parking of a car, storage spaces in the basement and in the attic. It went through a total renovation process in 2022, while keeping all the original architectural elements. On the occasion of the renovation, improvements were made to the structure and comfort, such as the lining of the walls and the application of a self-leveling screed, the doubling of the ceilings with wood, the insulation of the interior walls with basalt wool. The exterior carpentry is now laminated wood with double glazing, the interior wood, the new Lindab roof, the kitchen and bathrooms have been tiled with travertine, the main solid wood staircase connecting the levels has been restored. The building is connected to all utilities, including two circuits to the three-phase electrical network, one of which is for an electric car charging station. The new owner will have the opportunity to own a period house, emblematic of an old Bucharest neighborhood, with easy access to all the main points in the center of the Capital. It can be intended for residence or commercial space, company headquarters, cafe or restaurant. Photo: Gabriel Ghizdavu
