The country road winds through the beautiful Österlen, from Ystad up to Kristianstad. In the flat and open landscape, classic Scanian buildings adorn the views through the car window. At the edge of Everöd village, a private avenue with lush treetops turns off the road and leads into the property. On the way, you pass two picturesque gate lodges, and soon the canopy of trees opens up to welcome you to Mjöviksgården's enchanting manor building, boasting a classic Scanian architecture style.
The manor house has been lovingly renovated and now shines with a carefully maintained living area of over 300 square meters. Here, heating, alarms, lighting and music are controlled via apps, and a feeling of luxury permeates the home thanks to the exclusive materials. Interiorly, timber and brick walls highlight the charm of the house, complemented by wide door moldings, beautiful window frames, tiled stove, fireplace and a host of other attractive details. The large, high-quality kitchen is the heart of the home and separates the more private parts from the social areas in a naturally given way. In total, the house has three bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms, distributed over the two floors.
Together with the farm buildings, the main building forms a classic southern Swedish farm with a sheltered cobbled courtyard. Half-timbered houses and stonemasonry testify to the dedicated work that went into the farm, which is further enhanced by the solid kiln tiles and memorial stone still preserved. The farm center is surrounded by a magnificent park-like plot. The river Mjöån, teeming with trout, ripples serenely through the property, and an old mill still stands at the water's edge. On the other side of the river lies a smaller residential building embedded in an incredibly scenic environment.
Mjöviksgården offers a harmonious whole with a perfect living environment. Three hectares of arable land surrounds the avenue, creating a protective framework for the property. The village has everyday amenities, and by car you reach the bigger city in just 20 minutes.
