This secluded farm blends perfectly into the natural surrounds of the Eastern Cape Karoo of South Africa, 30km away from the historic town of Cradock and about 250km from the airport in Port Elizabeth.
Your journey of this magnificent game farm begins with a meander alongside a seasonal river with its great diversity of birdlife. Spot the occasional impala, lechwe and numerous sightings of the gracious giraffe. Traverse up the valley thicket, keeping a beady eye open for kudu, waterbuck and mountain rhebok. Arrive on the plateau and take in the breathtaking vistas of the surrounding Winterberg range. Herds of wildebeest and zebra thrive in this habitat. Descending down, herds of eland and red hartebeest are a common sight. Reaching the foothills, you will find the majestic sable and finally onto the Karoo plains to view the pronking springbuck.
The farm offers many other opportunities to develop 4x4 routes, hiking and walking trails, birding and idyllic game viewing.
A well developed road infrastructure and numerous watering points are distributed across the entire property which has a CAE certified perimeter fence.
The climate in this area varies from chilly winters to warm summer days and has an approximate annual rainfall of 350mm. The farm boasts a diverse topography from the sometimes snow-capped mountains to the valley thickets, seasonal rivers and open Karoo plains.

The accommodation extends to a comfortable hunter’s cottage with 4 en-suite bedrooms, open-plan lounge/ dining room/ kitchen and a built-in barbeque. Leading out to the undercover veranda, soak up the endless views with a real sense of the freedom of the Karoo.
The thatched manor home is set within a large parkland garden. It is characterized by an open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen and second formal lounge. The home has 2 en-suite bedrooms, an office, playroom, laundry and an outside built in barbeque. In harmony with this is a charming cottage with 2 appealing en-suite bedrooms.
The neat out-buildings comprise of ample garage parking space, workshop, storerooms, 4 staff houses and a cold room. Another feature is a fully equipped abattoir with a large cold room.
Included in the price are all the game, numerous vehicles, machinery, equipment, contents of the abattoir, lodge and hunter’s cottage but excluding the contents of the manor house.
