The Wannabees Cycling Club manages mountain bike trails in and around the Helderberg. The WCC main trail starts at Somerbosch Winery and many well-known MTB trails are easily accessible.

Close by is Somerset College, an independent school that includes Cambridge AS and A-Levels. There are many other top-rated schools in Somerset West and Stellenbosch to choose from. The University of Stellenbosch attracts students from all over the world.
