Nestled in the picturesque landscapes between Stockholm and Uppsala lies an idyllic retreat like no other. Just a few hundred meters from the shores of Lake Mälaren, Nederhassla is a genuine farm from the late 1800s, with meticulously preserved buildings and modern additions of the highest standard.
The main house stands proudly at the farm's highest point, offering a breathtaking view of the surroundings and a terrace with a saltwater pool in an exquisite south-facing position. The house features several bright living rooms adorned with beautiful tiled stoves, and the kitchen boasts a finely preserved old wood stove. The farm center is lined with a charming guest house, built at the same time as the main house, and a delightful orangery nestled among a garden teeming with blooming fruit trees. Here, one can sit and relax under the tree canopies adorned with a colorful mix of pears, apples, and plums.
Additionally, the farm includes a classic two-story storage building, a guest apartment, office, workshop and garage, root cellar, and a high-quality cider house established in 2017. Until 1990, commercial fruit farming was conducted on the farm's land, and the cider house was added in modern times to preserve the farm's heritage. Today, the farm's approximately 10.3 hectares consist of a mix of arable land, pasture, and forest, with a large plot by Lake Mälaren including a share in its own water and dock.
Nederhassla Farm is located just a few miles from Enköping, Stockholm, and Uppsala, as well as only 30 minutes from Arlanda Airport.
