Mahahual is located 21 miles from Chetumal´s airport. It is a quiet and little-known small fishing village, perfect for vacationing on the Costa Maya, which comes alive when cruise ships arrive at its port. It is home to the largest coral atoll in Mexico. That is why it is positioned as a paradise for diving lovers, as it also has the Banco Chinchorro Biosphere Reserve just an hour away by boat. This area is part of the second largest reef in the world where there are also more than 60 ships that have been shipwrecked since the 16th century.
