The chapel, which was built around 1904, deconsecrated in 2013 and extensively renovated in 2021/22, has become an extraordinary, loft-like home. This unique piece harmoniously combines the charm of bygone eras with the most modern comfort and technology.
When entering the designer loft through the imposing wooden double doors, the high-quality interior with wood-burning fireplace, gallery and especially the designer lamps, which provide harmonious light, immediately catches the eye. In the rear area of the entrance there is a guest toilet for visitors. Adjacent to this is the approx. 30 m² granny flat consisting of two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a small balcony.
The special highlight of the loft is the chapel room with its impressive 7-meter-high dome and excellent acoustics, which convey a feeling of spaciousness and grandeur. In the afternoon, the living space is transformed into a sea of colors by the historic stained glass windows and gives the room a special atmosphere. The chapel room offers plenty of space for living, eating and cooking. A solid wood staircase in an industrial look leads to a gallery that makes the room seem even more spacious, where there are two open office spaces.
The double doors lead from the loft to a large Bangkirai terrace, which gives the ambience a touch of closeness to nature. The industrial-style garden exterior staircase underlines the overall picture of a modern and robust character.
The garden floor has 2 bedrooms, a dressing room, a master bathroom with every comfort, a wellness room and a utility room. The winter garden with jacuzzi, lounge and adjoining outdoor terrace is fully glazed and offers a retreat to enjoy nature in any weather. A state-of-the-art cascade heating system combines air heat pumps with gas condensing boilers and a water tank to ensure optimal heat supply.
