Inspired by a snowmobile trip to Revelstoke, Canada, this solid handcrafted log home has taken shape. Built with a focus on Swedish materials and craftsmanship, the house was hand-cut in Leksand by Patrick Gunnarsson over the course of a year. The result is truly outstanding, with almost 1,200 meters of timber used, featuring diameters ranging from 300 to 700 mm. The solid construction and meticulous craftsmanship create a calm and peaceful atmosphere that pervades the entire home.
Functionality and comfort have been at the forefront of the design. The generous layout offers space for many guests, with 12 beds and the possibility for privacy among different groups. The large terrace, complete with a wood-fired sauna and hot tub, invites relaxation year-round. The house also features a practical mudroom entrance and a spacious double garage. Local expertise and suppliers were engaged, and great care was taken with every detail.
This exceptionally well-built home is situated in a fantastic location in Himmelfjäll, with close proximity to both ski slopes and snowmobile trails. A unique opportunity to acquire a home where every detail reflects quality and care!
