We moved here about 20 years ago and it has been a delightful home to bring up the children but it is now time to downsize. Harbledown is a charming village surrounded by orchards and close to Blean Woods so there are wonderful places to go for a walk. You can stroll down to the village pub for a drink and a meal without having to take the car out and the local convenience store can provide you with immediate necessities.
There is the Harbledown cricket club and nearby Blean includes a primary school rated Outstanding by Ofsted while Canterbury has a variety of excellent grammar and private schools as well as three universities. The city also includes some impressive UNESCO heritage site buildings, a variety of high street stores and individual shops as well as a plethora of restaurants, pubs, cinemas and two theatres. It is also not far from the coast at Whitstable or the Thanet towns for a day on the beach.
