Fattoria La Corte is located only a few kilometres from San Casciano in Val di Pesa near Florence city-centre.
Florence is known as the cradle of the Renaissance and is home to artistic and architectural masterpieces. Fattoria La Corte is a prestigious village located on a beautiful, private estate in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, near Florence. The village sits on approximately 35 hectares of land, which includes 8 hectares of vineyards producing approximately 400hl of wine (55.000 bottles) such as Chianti Classico, Gallo black and IGT Super Tuscan Wine, 15 hectares of olive groves for the production of cold pressed extra virgin olive oil (5.000 bottles) named the best in Tuscany, 5 hectares of arable land and 8 hectares of woodland. At present, the land is managed by a winery that pays rent with an annual contract. The estate also offers a salt water infinity pool (18 x 9,8 meters), 7 whirlpool baths, a small beach with a sunbathing area and solarium, along with a six-seater jacuzzi pool.
The tenuta measures a surface area of approximately 3.000mq and consists of a main villa (900mq), a loggetta (1.505mq), a third building (845mq) a limonaia building (1.105mq) and a small annex. The whole village has undergone major renovations to recapture the original splendour and atmosphere. The materials are mostly all of Tuscan origin and original to the era as all features were the result of painstaking research and conservation. All internal and external doors are antique and restored.
The two-story main villa measures approximately 900mq and is currently under renovation. The structure is very elegant, and a beautiful Italian garden can be found in the main outdoor common area.
The village also consists of two adjacent buildings which have been divided into 13 housing units for guest usage. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen/kitchenette with furniture and appliances.
